Jonnie Owens RN, BS Research Director

Biography

Born in Albany, Georgia. Widowed, 3 children. Education includes 1974 Beta Club Graduate, with Honors, Albany High School, 1974-1976 Associate Degree in Nursing, Albany Junior College and 1983-1988 Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with Honors, Albany State University. Enjoys scrapbooking and Facebook.

Qualifications

Nursing competencies include acute and chronic care, private practice, public health, long-term care, EKGs, and PFTs.

Administrative skills include planning, creating (area specific) job descriptions, competency skills, and nursing procedures and evaluation of staff performance.

Work History

2005-present: Clinical Research Coordinator, Georgia Pollens Clinical Research Centers, Inc. Responsible for implementation of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with Federal regulations and guidelines, under the direction of the principal investigator.

Debra Forsberg

Research Assistant

Debra Forsberg

As Clinical Research Assistant, Debra handles patient recruitment for our research studies, performs patient assessment and follow up and is our IT Coordinator for Trial Vendors.

Debra was born in Athens Georgia, raised in Pelham Georgia, is married with 3 Children. Graduated in 2005 from Pelham High School. Enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduation. Served our country 2005 - 2013 receiving an honorable discharge. 2006 received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice through CCAF, 2010 received Associate Degree in Business Administration from Darton College and a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from South University in 2014. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and children.
